Poll shows online beats newspaper buying

Website journalism.co.uk ran a poll to coincide with 'Buy a Newspaper Day' in the US. It asked the question "Did you buy a newspaper yesterday?"
Under a quarter of respondents said they had, but more than half claimed they had "read everything on line at midnight".
The full results based on the question "Did you buy a newspaper yesterday?" were:
"Of course, it's as essential as my morning caffeine hit" - 22% (11 votes)
"Yes, but I can take it or leave it - I'm fickle" - 14% (7 votes)
"No, but I would normally. I've let the print people down" - 8% (4 votes)
"Are you joking? I'd already read everything online at midnight" - 54% (27 votes)
"What's a newspaper?" - 2% (1 vote)
