Brum Mail praised for live news coverage

Readers obviously care about the future of the Birmingham Mail, judging by the response to editor Steve Dyson's blog in which he has written that the paper's owner Trinity Mirror are considering making it a morning paper, printed overnight.
Most of the more than 40 responses are against the paper switching to overnight printing and losing the ability to publish live, on the day news.
To press home the point, Stephen Brinkley has posted today praising yesterday's Mail for its up to date news coverage. He writes: "Congratulations on yesterday's (Sep 2) live breaking newspaper. A first ed front page live breaking story on the release of cctv images of wanted race rioters in Birmingham, which the paper would not have had first had it been printed overnight, followed by breaking coverage of the Ashley Blake sentencing. Well done and I hope the sales figures are good."
